Now, here's the thing about this iPad — Apple quietly made it better in almost every way that matters and barely raised the price.
The screen has grown to a full 11 inches, which makes a real difference for reading, video calling, and watching films. It's bright, sharp, and easy on the eyes. The A16 chip — that's the brain inside — is plenty fast for everything a normal person would do: browsing, email, video calls, streaming, apps. It won't slow down on you.
The front camera has gotten much better, which matters if you use FaceTime with family. The battery easily gets through a full day of normal use.
What I really like is it works equally well with a stand or flat on the sofa. The text you can make as large as you like in every app, and the setup is genuinely straightforward.
My only gripe is accessories cost extra — the keyboard cover and pencil aren't included.
Best for anyone who wants an easy, capable tablet without paying MacBook prices.

- Heavier than the iPad mini at 1.05 lbs — some people find it tiring to hold for long reading sessions
- Glossy screen picks up more reflections than the pricier iPad Air's laminated display
