Now, here's the thing about most air fryers — they look like something from a spaceship. The Cosori Iconic is different. It's proper stainless steel, sleek, and wouldn't look out of place next to a good kettle.

But it's not just about looks. The inside is coated with a ceramic non-stick that's free from PFAS — that's the chemicals some people worry about in non-stick coatings. So you can cook knowing everything touching your food is safe. It handled frozen chips, chicken drumsticks, and even a banana cake without breaking a sweat.

It holds 6.5 quarts, which is enough for three to five people, and the basket is wide and shallow so food cooks evenly in a single layer. The five fan speeds mean you get crispy air-fried chips at full blast or gentle proofing for bread dough at the lowest setting.

My only gripe is the touch controls on the top — they attract fingerprints something awful. And at $249, it's pricier than a basic model. But the five-year warranty and that beautiful build make it worth the extra.

Ideal if you want an air fryer you won't want to hide in a cupboard.
