Now, here's the thing about the Dreame L50 Ultra -- it actually does what robot vacuums have been promising for years. It vacuums, it mops, and it takes care of its own mess afterward.

The standout trick is something called ProLeap -- basically little retractable legs that let it climb over door thresholds and rug edges up to about two inches high. Most robot vacuums get stuck. This one just carries on.

The suction is seriously powerful at 19,500 Pa (that's the measure of how hard it pulls in dirt), and the dual brush design means it handles pet hair without getting tangled. The mopping uses hot water, so it actually lifts stains rather than pushing dirty water around.

The dock does everything -- empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop pads, even cleans itself. You barely need to touch it for weeks.

It's not cheap, but if you're tired of pushing a vacuum around and want something that genuinely works, this is the one to beat. The battery won't cover a mansion in one go, but it recharges fast and picks up where it left off.
