Right, let me put this plainly: if you're turning your TV up to 45 just to hear the dialogue, the problem isn't your ears. Modern flat TVs have almost no room for decent speakers, so most of them sound like someone talking through a tin can.
This soundbar sits just in front of your TV and plugs in with one cable. The difference is immediate.
